ProtectNet Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, accessing, or using ProtectNet.net (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. User Accounts

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. Users under 18 require parental consent.

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activities that occur under your account. Creating multiple accounts without authorization is strictly prohibited and may result in a ban.

2.3 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. Failure to do so may result in the suspension or termination of your account.

2.4 Username Rules

The use of offensive or inappropriate usernames is prohibited.

2.5 Email Address

A valid email address is required during registration. This email will be used for password recovery and communication from the administration.

If you are uncertain about any of the rules, please refrain from registering to avoid misunderstandings.

3. User Conduct

3.1 Prohibited Activities

• Posting harmful, obscene, or defamatory content.
• Harassing, insulting, or bullying other users.
• Engaging in fraudulent activities, including manipulation of reputation, blackmail, and scams.
• Sharing or promoting illegal content such as drugs, weapons, child exploitation, or content that incites violence or crime.
• Flooding (excessive posting) and spamming.
• Revealing personal information of users, except in cases involving proven scams.

3.2 Respectful Interaction

Disputes should be resolved respectfully. Do not retaliate to provocations with insults; instead, report any such behavior to the administration.

3.3 Content Ownership and Rights

You retain ownership of the content you post on the Platform. However, by posting content, you grant ProtectNet a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content within the Platform.

ProtectNet owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform, including all intellectual property rights.

3.4 Administrator Interaction

If you disagree with a moderator's actions, contact them privately. If unresolved, escalate the matter to the support service or an administrator.

4. Topic Creation Rules

4.1 Relevant Sections

Topics must be created in the appropriate sections. If a mistake is made, notify a moderator immediately.

4.2 Commercial Posts

Commercial posts are only allowed in designated sections.

4.3 Avoid Duplicate Topics

Before creating a new topic, ensure that a similar topic does not already exist.

4.4 Meaningful Titles

Choose clear and descriptive titles for your topics. Vague titles like "Help" or "Problem" will be deleted.

4.5 Content Moderation

The administration reserves the right to remove obscene messages and topics without explanation.

5. Section-Specific Rules

5.1 Marketplace

Rules specific to buying, selling, and auctions apply. Transactions must be conducted ethically and within the platform’s guidelines.

5.2 Security and Privacy

Discussions must adhere to ethical guidelines and legal standards. Avoid sharing or requesting illegal software or techniques.

5.3 Technology & Development

Stay on-topic within technology and development discussions. Off-topic discussions will be moderated.

5.4 General Discussions

Adhere to the community guidelines and avoid off-topic discussions.

5.5 Additional Sections

Each section may have its own specific rules in addition to these general rules. Compliance with all section rules is mandatory.

6. Additional Rules

6.1 Fraud Prevention

Any attempt at fraud, including ignoring established procedures or guarantees, is prohibited. Violations may result in immediate account termination.

6.2 Discussion of Administration Actions

Discussions about the actions of administrators or moderators are not permitted in public forums. Use private messaging for suggestions or concerns.

6.3 Rule Updates

These rules may be updated without prior notice. Users are encouraged to review the rules regularly.

6.4 Respect

Respect the opinions and contributions of all users. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

6.5 Violation Reporting

Users can report rule violations using the "Report" feature or by contacting a moderator directly.

6.6 Account Security

If your account is compromised, you remain responsible for any actions taken with it. Report the breach immediately.

6.7 Forum Administration

The administration includes Administrators, Moderators, and Support staff who ensure the smooth functioning of ProtectNet.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that we deem harmful to the Platform or other users.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.1 No Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

ProtectNet will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Government of Algeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
